Abersoch
RNLI New Years Dip 2010
Abersoch RNLI will be holding its annual Fancy Dress New Year's Day Dip
on, guess when! - January 1st 2010… This year, thanks to all the brave
souls who took a dip and the generosity of the 1000 or so spectators,
the event raised a magnificent £11000. Next year will be even better!!
The Fancy Dress theme is Wales (and all things Welsh) so put your
thinking caps on. As always John Wormold of Totally Abersoch will be
taking hundreds of photographs which will be available on the web. All
Dippers will receive a commemorative medal and hot drinks. Sponsorship
forms can be obtained from The South Caernarfon Yacht Club, The Lifeboat
Souvenir Shop at the Lifeboat Station, Boardrider and Rip Girl or
contact Clive Jenkins on creigirwen@tiscali.co.uk
Don't
fancy dipping? No problem! Just come along and join the fun, shops,
bars, restaurants and pubs will be open to start the New Year in great
style! Date is easy to remember, time is 12 noon on Main Beach, but do
not leave it to the last minute, it's going to be busy so allow time to
park! See you then.

Misadventures Night At The Harbour
Bank Holiday Saturday (29th May) Misadventures returns to the Harbour
with a special 2am late license and another jam packed line-up! With
performances from Joshua Roberts just before he jets off to Ibiza for
the summer and Jigsaw // Rocketman who are fresh off the back of warm up
performances with the likes of Annie Mac, Jack Beats, Caspa, Rusko and
Chase & Status so expect an energetic performance incorporating a mass
of musical genres!
Other guests include The Fly By Night DJs and Chris Sheldon so be sure
to get their early.
Early indications are that this will be a sell out event, advance
tickets are available from The Sandpiper, tickets are also available on
the door, entry is £3 before 11pm and £5 after. For more information go
